Reflections on Coaching

Faithwalking coaching is a gift – for the coachee and for the coach. Not only does coaching impact coachees in powerful ways, but it plays a significant role in the transformation of the coach as well. Coaches are able to reengage the course concepts along with their coachees. Coaching provides a place to put into practice the very concepts the coach learned during his or her own Faithwalking process.

In the video above, Linda Powell shares some of her experience as a coach. She reflects on what she sees as her role and the impact coaching has had on her personally. One important part of her role, she says, is to “be curious and ask questions. Communicate to them that their story matters. Provide a space for them to wonder where God is in that story.” Check out the video for more on the role of coach and what it has meant to this particular coach.

Faithwalking is always looking for new coaches. Let us know if you would like more information.
