Chris White wants to know his neighbors. And he wants his neighbors to know Jesus. About eight years ago Chris and his wife started reaching out to their neighbors. They have experienced triumphs along the way—such as organizing successful block parties and developing trusting friendships with neighbors—but they have also faced setbacks. A horrific crime just down the street nearly derailed Chris’s ministry to his neighbors. Chris started to battle fear. And he struggled to trust God.
The Faithwalking journey helped Chris identify and address his fear, and ultimately brought conviction that he had not kept his word to his mission. Through the accountability provided by Faithwalking coaching, Chris recommitted himself to being a light in his community.
