Two years ago I completed LeadersEdge, a Christian leadership development process led by Jim Herrington and a team. The LeadersEdge process had all the right elements of a great community that facilitates real transformation. It has great leadership that is implementing the principles themselves. It is in a small enough group format to facilitate dialogue, and trained me in what that can look like. It challenged me to be honest and transparent. It stretched me to understand new concepts such as the practice of using mental models in leading teams, and the power of my role in a system. It refocused me on the importance of making disciples, and gave me a new paradigm of impacting my community.
