Introduction to Soul Care Independent Study Now Available

By Marcos Leon

In the midst of so much uncertainty and unrest, we all need an anchor. In the words of William Stafford (“The Way It is”):

There’s a thread you follow. It goes among
things that change. But it doesn’t change.
People wonder about what you are pursuing.
You have to explain about the thread.
But it is hard for others to see.
While you hold it you can’t get lost.
Tragedies happen; people get hurt
or die; and you suffer and get old.
Nothing you do can stop time’s unfolding.
You don’t ever let go of the thread.

In this course, you will learn to pay attention to the aliveness of your own soul. You will recognize the enemies of your soul and will be present to the struggle and delight of caring for your soul. You will also learn about simple practices to help you tend to your soul.
